Description: Official Black Rock Rangers shirt, worn by our trained Ranger staff, 1995 to present. The stylized image of Burning Man first appeared on an envelope from Anita Moore on March 20th, 1995. The Black Rock Ranger logo of the stylized image inside a circle (which has come to represent the community of Burning Man) was based on a concept by Danger Ranger and the final design was created by Stuart Mangrum and Bill Barker on April 8th, 1995. It replaced a stylized skull & crossbones Ranger logo which was used in 1994.
