Description: The Lahontan Teahouse, by Marshall Elliott. A one-tatami teahouse made of burnt cloth (A tatami is a Japanese mat that is used to speak of the size of a room. A common teahouse would be 4 1/2 tatami). Each day at sunset, tea was served.
